5 Amazing Low-Carb, Gluten-Free Bread Recipes You Will Love

After we shared our last article, on The “Keto-Diet”. Many of our readers got excited to eliminate, sugar and carbs from their diets, the main problem they had, was with Bread, bread plays a huge role in our everyday life. I’ll take my self as an example. Growing up as a North-African, I was consuming bread, since I grew my first teeth. We consume bread, 3 times a day, 7 days a week, at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So when I was switching to the keto lifestyle, bread was a huge problem for me. Especially at breakfast. It was a frustration for me, to miss my morning coffee’s best companion, the hot slice of bread with butter, and organic honey, As a working lady, the coffee and the slice of bread were a perfect match. Easy to prepare, and easy to finish. During the first couple of days, I failed to eliminate bread. So I switched to brown bread, which wasn’t a good choice either, because I wasn’t seeing results from my Keto-Diet. Until I discovered some amazing low-carb, gluten-free bread recipes.

1-Simple Ketogenic Bread
 Serves 8


  • 1 ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ¼ cup chestnut flour
  • 5 medium eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Sunflower seeds, walnuts, and/or pumpkin seeds
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

1-Grab a bowl and add coconut flour, almond flour, chestnut flour, eggs, baking soda, salt, vinegar, and olive oil to it.
2-Combine the ingredients well. Use a rectangular loaf tin and line it with aluminum foil. Pour the batter into the tin and sprinkle with sunflower seeds, walnuts, and/or pumpkin seeds. 3-Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes on 300F.

2-Ketogenic Herb Bread
 Serves 8


  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 5 medium eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons thyme and/or rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup olive or coconut oil

1-Turn your oven to 350F. Use a standard loaf pan and grease it with olive or coconut oil or butter.
2-Use a food processor or a blender to combine coconut flour, almond flour, thyme and/or rosemary, baking soda, flaxseed meal, and salt. Once you combine all the ingredients, add eggs, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil. Continue pulsing until everything is well combined. 3-Transfer the batter to the greased pan. Put it into the oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the top becomes golden. You can use aluminum foil to cover the top if it starts getting brown.

3-Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Serves 12


  • 2 eggs
  • 3 medium bananas
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

1-Turn your oven to 350F. Use parchment paper to line up a loaf pan and grease it with cooking spray.
2-Use a large bowl and add bananas, almond butter, and vanilla extract to it. Use an electric hand mixer to combine the ingredients well. You want to get a creamy and smooth consistency.
3-Add 2 eggs one at a time and continue mixing on medium speed until everything is well combined.
4-Add baking soda, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, and continue mixing on medium-low speed. In this  step, you should avoid over-mixing as you want the ingredients just incorporated. Gradually add dark chocolate chips.
5-Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and gently even the top of the bread. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
Allow it to cool down before serving.

4-Ketogenic Monkey Bread
 Serves 8


  • 3 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup Swerve or sweetener of your choice
  • 10 tablespoons psyllium husk powder
  • 5 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 8 egg whites
  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese


  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 8 tablespoons coconut oil or butter
  • ½ cup Swerve or sweetener of your choice

1-Turn your oven to 375F. Grab a big bowl and add the almond flour, baking powder, psyllium powder, Swerve, and salt. Combine the ingredients until they are well mixed.
Add apple cider vinegar and the eggs and continue mixing until you get a thick consistency. Next, add boiling water and continue mixing for a couple more minutes until the dough firms up.
2-Form about 20 disks from the batter. Cut the cream cheese into the same number of squares. Put one slice of cheese on top of each disc and form them around the cheese slices.
Arrange a half of the disks on the baking sheet you previously greased with cooking spray. The cream cheese squares should be facing up. Next, place the remaining dough disks over the first half of them. The cream cheese should be facing down (so, in the opposite direction of the first half).
3-Bake for around 55 minutes 1t 375F. In the meantime, make the topping by combining cinnamon, Swerve, and coconut oil in a medium bowl. Combine everything until the ingredients are well mixed.
Take out the monkey bread and spread the topping over the hot monkey bread. Return to the oven and bake for additional 12 minutes. Allow it to cool down before serving.

5-Coconut Bread with Rosemary
Serves 8



  •  ¾ cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup flax meal
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, freshly ground
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

1-Turn your oven to 350F. Use a mixing bowl and add eggs, coconut milk, olive oil, and rosemary to it. Use an electric hand mixer to combine the ingredients well. Your goal is to get a smooth consistency.
 2-Add baking soda, flax meal, and salt and continue mixing until you combine the ingredients. Finally, add the coconut flour and mix it with the ingredients.You should get a rather dry batter.
3-Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet and put the batter onto it. Put it into your oven and bake for about 45 minutes.
